Aluminium plate is heat treatable, resists cracking due to stress, and is easy to weld and machine. Aluminium plate is ideal for structural framing, base plates, gussets, motorcycle and automotive parts, and is widely used in aerospace, military and transportation product manufacture.
Our aluminium plates in this collection are available in an alloy and temper of 6082-T651 and 7075-T651. We stock T651 plates, as this grade exhibits post-machining stability. The grade has a proven combination of increased strength, corrosion resistance, and machinability.
