The difference between the three states of 6061 aluminum plates T6, F and O

T6 state is the most commonly used in 6061 aluminum alloy, 6061 aluminium plate in this state through medium plate quenching – plate slicing – stretching machine – aging treatment – sawing machine – polishing – packaging. The whole production cycle is about 10 days. After solid solution heat treatment, it can be straightened and leveled without cold working, but the mechanical properties are not affected.

F state is the free working state of 6061 aluminum alloy, which is suitable for special products in the forming process for working hardening and heat treatment conditions. F-state production cycle is very short: plate slice-sawing machine-polishing (not polishing, according to customer requirements) – packaging, the entire process can be arranged smoothly for 3 days to ship, F-state mechanical properties do not specification, customers can according to their own needs to F-state heat treatment processing, production into the required state to use. The corresponding price is also the cheapest.

The O state is the lowest strength processed product of 6061 aluminum alloy after full annealing. Suitable for 6061 aluminum alloy sheet plate below 8.0, its production process: cold-rolled finished product thickness – stretch bending straightening cleaning – complete annealing – flying shear (or stretch bending straightening finished product) – packaging and storage of a series of production, production cycle is only next to T6 state.

6061 aluminum sheet has high strength, corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance, and is widely used in automatic mechanical parts, precision machining, automotive chassis, cake mold and so on.
